Actual Size Software Limited was formed in 2009 to distribute initially GFI Software and 2X products in New Zealand, and to grow and service resellers and their customers throughout the country.

Drawing on more than 40 years in the IT industry, and over 12 years working with GFI Software, Actual Size Software provides tools and services to facilitate enterprise quality security and monitoring for small and large organisations.

Driven by recognition that quality system information, protection and delivery are critical no matter what size of organisation, we work with service and integration partners to foster effective use of our distribution products, to maximise the value to partner and customer alike.

Complementing GFI’s security and messaging software, Actual Size also distribute 2X software to optimise and load balance Terminal Servers, and offer the Delta System Health Monitoring service, which leverages GFI and other market leading tools to deliver deep 24/7 monitoring and escalation, for national and locally focused integrators and their customers.  Actual Size has also been appointed to distribute 3CX virtual PBX solutions, providing flexible VoIP telecommunications with exceptional value for small and medium businesses.

John Mills, Actual Size Software

John began his working life in IT in 1982, as a systems administrator working on micro and mini-computer platforms through to 1985. Work in London gave John experience in financial market settlements and systems which led him to three years as a capital markets dealer for DFC on his return to New Zealand. Building on this, John moved back into IT in 1988, selling deal capture and settlements technologies, and Sybase and Sun Microsystems. He worked a further four years in PC network solutions, then developed helpdesk and support for electronic shopping start-up E-Shop in 1992-93, before switching to a ten-year career shift as a professional musician. Re-entering IT in 2003, John joined Observatory Crest where he worked for six years as Product Manager distributing GFI Software, developing a strong base of resellers and key customers throughout New Zealand.

John formed Actual Size Software to continue working with this robust and cost-effective product range, and to leverage technical expertise and skills in what has become an extensive resale channel.
